Fall is coming: Small group leaders are needed both for Sunday school and Wednesday night Kids Club this fall. There is a need for help both in the preschool classes and the primary grades. Volunteers can commit to every week, or once a month, or a month at a time, or every other week--whatever works best with your schedule. Please contact Maria if you are able to volunteer.
Welcome: We welcome Redeemer Life Covenant Church as they begin weekly worship each Sunday at 4 p.m. in our Choir Room. After a time of building a core group they will launch public worship next spring in their own location.
Worship survey: Thank you for helping us evaluate our worship services and plan for fall. We
will be accepting survey until August 29 and appreciate your input. Survey forms are at the Welcome Desk in the Narthex. -- The Deacon and Worship Committee.
Missionary prayer calendars: We have received a supply of the new Covenant Missionary Prayer Calendar. They can be used as a guide to pray for our missionaries around the world on a daily basis. You can find them at the Information Center.
Fireside Dinner Fellowship: Friday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. we will enjoy
the relaxing environs of the Lake House at Saddlebrook Farms for a potluck
supper. (Watch for a signup sheet at the church information desk with suggestions on the foods to
share.)
Following the meal we look forward to a special presentation by the Rev. Ron Haznedl, an archeologist. Ron is a close friend of the Zientys and has been
on numerous digs in the Holy Land and surrounding area. This presentation
has been shared with people of all ages and educational backgrounds and has
been valued by all. Come and share Ron's passion to find and share archeological artifacts that tell us much about Bible times.
